Fortune Favours the Bold.

If I did one more post apologising for my lack of commitment to my blog then I think you might all wish me a virtual slap in the face. I'm flaky and I get bored easily, I also lost motivation and inspiration,  do know that I am sorry though.
Howeverrrrrrr. On a more positive note, Autumn/Winter is my favourite time of the year, for both the festivities and the fashion. As many of my long term followers will know, I love to dress, comfy and cosy  with lots and lots of snuggly layers and scarf's. I am also obsessed with bold lipsticks; reds, oranges, purples. I'm never fully sure about how they look on me though, purely due to how pale I am. Doesn't stop me though to be fair.

On a more personal note, third year uni is destroying me. And dissertations are now my sworn enemy. I'm doing my dissertation on the philosophy of existentialism on stage in the theatre. Why did I pick this? Please tell me.
I'm also in a new house this year at uni, got the master bedroom of course and have made it into a Parisian themed delight. Candles and fairy lights everywhere, fire hazard! I would divulge all the gossip of the previous few months however, there really isn't much to tell. Hope you're all well, feel free to fill me in on what you've all been up to.

What's your favourite thing about this time of the year?
I can't wait for all the christmas markets to arrive. Exciting.

Signing off. For today that is.

Higher Than The Empire State.

I am absolutely loving the new flat-form craze. Everyone knows I'm a tiny 5ft 1 but I'm not an absolute lover of heels, which means most of the time, I look as tiny as I am. Don't get me wrong, a night out, a posh restaurant, I'll hesitantly sign my feet over to a long night of aches and pains but if I can get away with it I will happily go for a pair of comfy brogues or loafers. That's why I'm officially in love with the person who thought flat-forms are they way to go. I am with you, whoever you are.
This cheeky little pair, I got from H&M for £19.99. Bargain I thought.
I loved how simple and classic they were, could pretty much wear them with anything, day or night.

On a completely separate topic, I have never, ever been this pale during the so called summer before in my entire life. Seriously, I need some vitamin D.
Hoping the August and September sun up a little.

Here Comes The Summer Sun.

Top : H&M, £7.99

Shorts : Urban Outfitters, Sale £9.99
Bracelets : Accessorize

I finally got time to actually find a suitable photographing spot and take a couple of outfit shots, about bloody time if you ask me. So sorry that I've been a bad blogger, I've been living a life of mayhem at the moment. Went back to university, officially finished my second year and handed in all my assessments, moved back home to Manchester, then moved house with my parents. They've bought a bigger house that needs loads and loads of work doing, so I've been helping them out with everything, relatively happy though as my bedroom is huge and overlooks a lovely park.

Speaking of parks I experienced the biggest cliché of my life the other day. Came home from work and it was quite a nice day so I thought I would take my dog for a little walk around the park, whilst there this huge Chocolate Labrador came bounding over to me and knocked me over, so it's owner ran over to help, and was literally the most stunning man I have ever seen. We were talking for ages and he was called Craig. So so lovely.
Gave me butterflies and everything, I'm such a big girls blouse sometimes.

This is one of my cheerful, feeling hot hot hot, summer outfits.
It's a really easy to wear combination and you could mix both pieces with loads of different things. I think these are two of my key pieces for summer 2012.

Dramatic Society.

University is taking over my life.
I've been back in Lincoln for just under a week now and its literally been none stop, my diary never been so full, with rehearsal dates and times sketched in here there and everywhere.
As the majority of you know I study drama so that's why I'm always rehearsing, at the moment I'm doing a play called Terrorism at the local theatre, I'm making a film and I'm preparing to teach a lesson on A Street Car Named Desire, it's exhausting me.
But on the plus hand I have just finished my two essays that are due in next month sometime so, that's one less thing to do.

The money crisis is still at hand, (sad face) however I am pretty sure that student loan goes to tomorrow so that should be good, I'm gonna attempt to not spend it on too many clothes, promise.

Wish List ... Newlook

I used to absolutely hate Newlook. Literally.
But saying that, I think that over the past year it really has come into it's own. Especially in the shoe department, honestly, the amount of hours I must have spent just wandering around the maze of heels, wedges, flats, sandals, boots .... Ahh heaven.
I have completely fallen in love with these orange chunky heel platforms. I was in the Manchester arndale store the other day and I saw them, drooled a little and got super excited when I saw the £17.99 banner above them. Instantly grabbed a pair in my size and continued to browse the rest of the stock, then glanced down to the bottom of the shoe and saw that it wasn't £17.99 but it was £27.99. I was so ridiculously gutted, I'm in a bit of a no money crisis at the moment so I'm not allowing myself to spend to much on one item at a time. I had to put them back even though it killed me inside and everything in my body was telling me to buy buy buy them.
Sad times.
I'm also loving the collection of graphic T's that Newlook have in at the moment, I think a good T is vital, they are so easy to style and can make a look from geek chic to anything such as punk rock chick.
I think I'm slightly more geek chic to be honest.

Boredom Kills.

I'm such an insomniac, I'm telling you I can never sleep at night.
Sometimes I try to, I'll go to bed at about midnight, curl up in a ball and two hours later I'm still lay there bored out of my brains, wishing that I could just pass out.
So this is the type of thing I get up to when I can't sleep, I'm so cool.
Honestly I swear I have so many more productive nights than I do productive days, I get really easily distracted in the day, I'll go to my room to do work and then I'll hear my flatmates laughing and messing about in the living room and I just can't resist going and having a nosey what their up to.
Not my fault eh.

I'm a night owl and proud.

Wildfox Love

I am so ridiculously obsessed with Wildfox clothing. There's just something about it that screams sun, sand, beach and fun. I love how simple and casual it all is, I hate looking to overdressed, I would much rather be comfy any day.
There's nothing I enjoy more than to lounge about the house or the garden in a baggy T and shorts. It's just so effortless and easy. I know that some people like to look really groomed and done up all the time, but I'm just really not like that at all .. I think everything about Wildfox is so my style. Shame about how pricey it is.

It's absolutely killing me not having my camera on me ... It was my birthday a couple of weeks ago so I went on a big shopping spree and all I want to do is to take some outfit shots to show you everything that I bought. I'm so ditzy it's ridiculous, I would lose my head if it wasn't screwed on.
I remember once, I was having a silly night in the flat with my roomies and we decided to play hide and seek in our building, me not having any pockets thought it would be genius to put my keys in my bra so I didn't lose them. About an hour and a half later, the game stopped and panic struck, I had all my flatmates searching high and low for my keys,  under the sofa's on the stairs, everywhere. An hour later "Oh, haha, they're in my bra" "BECCIIIIIIIIIII"
What am I like eh ?

Oh oh oh .... It's my mumsy's birthday so I'm giving her a shout out.
Happy Birthday Mum, Love you lots.
